Information on Public Tenders 

PUBLIC TENDERS is currently designed to provide information on tendering to the public sector to companies in the United Kingdom.

PUBLIC TENDERS has been developed by European Business Services, in partnership with local public sector agencies – The Highland Council, Northern Constabulary, Moray Council, Argyll & Bute Council and Scottish Natural Heritage.  This site contains information on the purchasing policies, procedures and contacts in each of the agencies, as well as background to procurement rules and regulations and links and leads to associated sites and publications.

The PUBLIC TENDERS project also provides an alert service informing companies of tender adverts.  At present, companies in the United Kingdom can subscribe free of charge to be sent alerts. Subscribers can search the database of tenders for information in their sector or geographic area.
